The Cube Cross Hybrid One 400 is an E-Hybrid bike that seamlessly incorporates the high-quality Bosch e-bike technology with Cube’s quality trapeze frame and build process. Cube have put a lot of effort into ensuring that this is not just a hybrid with a motor tacked on, as the bike has been specifically built to give you the most comfortable and real riding experience you can have on an e-bike. Bosch's motor and battery is integrated so well that, many people won't even realise you're riding an e-bike, yet you can still ride further and faster than your friends with less effort. Bosch is German engineering at its finest and they really are setting the standard in e-bike engine and batteries. Bosch and Cube have combined to get every aspect right, the fully integrated battery and motor are protected from the elements, and the battery can be charged without being removed which is a very handy feature.

The Cross Hybrid One's centre of gravity is low to provide easy, confidence-inspiring handling and being a hybrid it is built to be durable and tough, even if you never venture off the road and onto the dirt. That's why it is built with features like double butted aluminium superlite tubes and a tapered head tube, for extra strength and reduced weight. The Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres have the grip to handle a range of surfaces and the Suntour suspension fork will handle all the bumps. While the powerful Shimano MT200 hydraulic disc brakes deliver plenty of all-weather stopping power, giving you the ultimate control even in the toughest conditions. While a full set of mudguard and rack mounts means you can easily add the accessories you need for everyday use.

The Cube One 400 E-Hybrid is a versatile bike that can be used to commute or get out on some trails and test out what a bike with a bit of assistance can do in the wild. While it is not built to take on the roughest trails, it certainly gives you the confidence to take on bumps and gutters found in urban riding, and some trail shortcuts you might find to make your life easier. An e-hybrid can help you go further and faster, making your life easier and more fun. You won’t be disappointed with the versatility and reliability of the Cube One 400 and the Bosch e-bike parts.

Features

Easy Mount Kickstand: The Easy Mount Kick Stand is a new system developed by CUBE, in which the base of the stand is mounted from below to a fitting plate integrated to the frame and fixed with a through bolt. This makes the kick stand extremely stiff, stable and solid through the enlarged contact areas between base and frame.

Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint to save weight.

Frame Safe System: To protect our frames the mounting thread is in the hanger and not in the frame as usual. In case of a crash, this hanger can be easily and quickly replaced by a new one.

Integrated Cable Routing: Cables are protected from dirt for longer life and weight is saved as there is no external housing and the bike has a clean, sleek appearance.

Agile Ride Geometry: We increased fork offsets to achieve the same trail as our 26in bikes without having to steepen the head angle. Secondly we shortened the chain stays without compromising the seat angle and invented a patented construction to mount the front derailleur to increase tyre clearance while keeping a conventional seat angle, for a perfect riding position. We kept the BB height the same as on our 26in bikes. These measures lead to a natural riding position.

Advanced Mechanical Forming: We can mechanically transform different frame tubes and thus optimise them without material-wearing welding work for the respective requirements. Along the obtained organic look, the production method is primarily to enable us to manufacture lighter and also stiffer aluminum frames.

Aluminium Lite: 6061 aluminium alloy requires a heat treatment for the finished product. It is a stiff, corrosion resistant, fatigue resistant,high-elongation material suitable for light tubesets with high stiffness.

Optimal Drive Position: CUBE developed an innovative new frame construction for the new Ebike generation: simultaneously being the cradle for the electric motor, the pivot for the rear link and the seat of the shock eyelet, the very complex area of the bottom bracket is made of two forged halves. The groove in the front section together with the specially formed down tube is home for the power pack which in this way has a very low position in the frame triangle. The positive outcome is an extremely low center of gravity supporting an agile riding characteristic while achieving a super rigid bottom bracket area.

Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint to save weight.

Smooth Welded: This elaborate procedure with doubled weld seams has two advantages: On the one hand, it improves the firmness of the weld seams and minimizses the load peaks on the tube welds through energy flow and on the other hand, it helps the frame to a better and more organic look due to the smooth and hardly noticeable welds.

Short, shot in the Arm
Format: Kindle
While not extensive, Powlison's, "The Pastor as Counselor," didn't need to be. In all likelihood, a pastor trying to exercise his office such that he would pick up a book like this doesn't have a lot of time for extended works, so this little booklet is a good B-12 shot in the heart reminder to what pastors are and what we're called to do: counsel. It's worth the thirty minutes or so, for your sake and your people's.

Dangerously deluded ideas about mental health
Format: Paperback
This book wants to convince the reader (presumably a pastor or religious leader of some variation) that as a christian they possess special powers that are the only true way to help people struggling with life, mental health, meaning, etc.. It repeatedly attacks mental health professionals as being incapable of addressing the real problems people face, while reinforcing pastors with the deluded belief that they alone hold the answers that others need in a counseling situation. Never mind that some of these mental health professionals he disparages have spent 4, 8, even 12+ years studying their subjects to become experts capable of giving the best possible, science-based mental health support. It suggests that you, as the reader, with a theology degree (perhaps not even that, maybe you are simply a volunteer in a church youth group or other church program) hold greater qualifications to address the real problems people are facing. Trying to setup a dichotomy of "christian counseling" vs "secular mental health professionals" also neglects the fact that many of these "secular professionals" are believing christians themselves, who know there is a time and place for everything and injecting religion isn't always the appropriate response. Of course many pastors & religious leaders have genuinely helped people's lives and well being (in addition to many who are doing the opposite..) But to suggest that the real professionals who devote their lives to these subjects have nothing of value to offer people struggling, while simultaneously empowering the reader with the idea that they possess some secret knowledge despite having no expertise, is a dangerous precedent. A more balanced approach might say that religious leaders of all stripes can have a role to play in counseling & mental health, while also having the humility to realize the limitations of being a non-expert. At the same time there are experts who also have a place in helping people with these issues, and it doesn't need to be some sort of competition as he frames it. People of all religions, cultures, and backgrounds have benefitted from both a scientific approach the author attempts to criticize, and from the christian centered approach he endorses.

This is a great book on discipleship!
Format: Paperback
"Mapping Discipleship" offers readers heart-provoking questions that enable them to perform a self-assessment in each chapter. While I was reading this, I was continuously challenged by the simple Biblical truths and purposeful questions that revealed my heart. Charlie Carter's book works as a compass and a map (in a spiritual sense) that will have you ask yourself: "Where am I at in my spiritual life? What is my current direction? Am I yielding to the Holy Spirit, or am I trying to figure it out on my own?" Carter's book is practical and applicable to everyday life. When you read this book, it's as if Carter were discipling you in a one-on-one setting in a personable yet gentle manner with the hope of encouraging you to disciple others upon completing the 12-chapter session. This book is one that I will go back to regularly!
